It is my pleasure to welcome you to the School of Planning at the University of Waterloo. Planning is a dynamic profession that shapes the communities in which we live. I encourage you to take the initiative to give your very best to your academic studies, but to also get involved in the many extracurricular activities that we have to offer in the faculty and at the university; both will lay a strong foundation for a fulfilling and successful experience.
It is my sincere wish that your time at the School of Planning and the university will leave you with treasured memories. The School administration provides a wonderful support network to assist you with the navigation of your studies while you are here; being part of our family, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the resources and tools that are available to you.
