University of Waterloo alumni are actively involved with the School of Planning. Planning has a great reputation for keeping in touch with its alumni and offering current students opportunities to interact with these professionals.
The University of Waterloo Planning Alumni of Toronto dinner is one of the key planning and development events of the year in that city.
Pragma Council, formed by Waterloo Planning alumni, consists of planners with diverse backgrounds and holds conferences on campus twice a year. This council discusses current planning issues and advises the School of Planning.
These events give Planning students great opportunities to make contacts, exchange information, and talk to practising planners about current issues in the profession.
