Inert Atmosphere Fabrication and RAC Capabilities – Open House
Date: Thursday, June 6, 2024 – 11:45AM to 2:00PM EST
Location: RAC 2009
The Quantum Nano Fabrication and Characterization Facility (QNFCF) and Transformative Quantum Technologies (TQT) will be hosting an open house at the Research Advancement Centre to celebrate the opening of the Inert Atmosphere Fabrication Lab (IAFL). Join us as we showcase the shared lab equipment available to our academic community and industry partners.
This event will feature a motivating talk by Adam Wei Tsen, IQC Associate Professor, on the research that this new 2D material device fabrication lab will enable. Brief talks about tool capabilities available at RAC will follow:
- Inert Atmosphere Fabrication Lab development and technical capabilities
- Taso Alkiviades - RAC Lab Technologist
- Cleanroom assembly laboratory capabilities
- John Nugent – RAC Lab Technologist
- Low Temperature STM capabilities
- Sandra Gibson – Nanofabrication and Characterization Scientist
Following the talks, there will be an opportunity to tour the following labs:
- Inert Atmosphere Fabrication Lab
- Cleanroom assembly laboratory
- Growth Lab and Omicron Lab
- ARPES and LT-STM
Lunch will be provided to all open house participants. We hope you will join us. Please register for the event here.
