The Center for Bioengineering and Biotechnology (CBB) launched the ‘Pizza with the Profs’ lunch and learn sessions in 2016 as a way to promote the exchange of information between the clinical and academic communities. As an open discussion session, UW presenters share their recent research findings and GRH clinical staff and physicians can provide input on future research focus to meet clinical needs.
Shifting to virtual sessions in 2020, the education event was re-branded as ‘Profs Present’.
To date, 41 education sessions have been hosted.
