Research focus areas:

CPM and its international partners believe that creative research is central to achieving its mission. Research proposals must have significant international interest / implications. This call for research proposals is focused on one of the subjects our research partners are particularly interested in, risk measurement and management.

Pension plans face an array of risks, ranging from uncertain investment returns to the operational impacts of severe weather. This area covers both qualitative and quantitative research into measuring and managing these risks. Examples would include techniques to model risk for illiquid assets, the impact of ethics policies on reputational risk, the way long-term investors should evaluate the risks associated with climate change, and successful mechanisms for risk reporting and monitoring.More information on the research topic can be found here.

It is expected one research proposal will be funded $100,000 over 2 years
