Advance your career sustainably

The Master of Environment and Business (MEB) is a program aimed at meeting the growing need for business sustainability professionals as a distinct group of knowledgeable, skilled, confident and motivated individuals with the information, tools and expertise to integrate environment with business in very practical ways.

The MEB program will offer you an executive, MBA-equivalent degree through online courses with minimal on-campus study, and with course materials distributed online. Students can complete the MEB in 12 months or take the 3 year part-time option designed for busy working professionals.

The MEB program prepares students for decision-making and strategic planning responsibilities, primarily as team-leaders or in strategic positions in corporations, government, medium and small businesses, institutions, and non-government organizations that see the opportunities that sustainability offers their organization. Such opportunities include operational efficiency, emerging market opportunities, product/service development or refinement, and, perhaps most importantly, understanding how finance, insurance, government, and consumer trends with respect to sustainability are expected to shape how organizations operate in the future.

Results from our 2021 alumni review reveal that MEB alumni have found mid- and senior-level careers in the private sector and government (based on available data from 71% of alumni).

A significant number of our graduates are working in environmental, management and engineering services companies. Others are in municipalities, Provincial and Federal government positions.
