WRPS seeking assistance with several recent robbery investigations

On July 29th, 2016 at 1:10 a.m. a female was approached by two males in the area of Hickory Street and Hazel Street in the City of Waterloo.
UW Police is currently assisting the Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) Major Case Branch in identifying the suspect of multiple sexual assaults that occurred in the early morning of Friday, June 24, 2016 in an area near the main Waterloo campus.
The statement from WRPS reads as follows:
In the early hours of Sunday morning campus police received a call from Waterloo Regional Police requesting we check the area of University Avenue and Westmount Avenue for a male exposing himself to passers-by. Campus police immediately went to the location and found the male, later determined to be a UW student. After a short foot chase he was arrested.
Two females then spoke to the officers and reported the male had grabbed them.
20 year old male arrested for BB incidents in Waterloo’s University district
Waterloo Region, Ontario – Officers of the Waterloo Regional Police General Investigations Branch have arrested and charged a 20 year old male in connection with the BB/Pellet gun incidents in early September 2015.
On Monday September 7, 2015, a Wilfrid Laurier University student was walking northbound on King Street near Hickory Street, Waterloo when she was struck in the eye by a bb pellet. Her injuries are serious. Another similar incident occurred shortly after but no one was injured.
On April 29/15 the following person was seen in the area where a wallet was stolen at St Paul’s College. He is also the person of interest in a number of other thefts on the main campus. This person is not a member of our university community and has been trespassed from the property. Anyone seeing this person on campus is asked to contact UW Police at 519-888-4567 extension 22222.
Suspect Description:
Over the past weekend there were two separate incidents on campus where a student was assaulted and had property taken. On April 3rd at 11:15 pm, a student was confronted near Village 1 by three black males with a handgun who stole some of his property. On April 4th at 9:50 pm another student was assaulted by three or four black males near Beck Hall at UWP. Some of his property was also taken. It is possible that a Mazda 5 was involved.

Break and Enter:
U.W.P. S. is investigating the report of a break and enter to a student residence room in V1 North 2. Sometime between February 26th and 28th a suspect entered a student residence room and stole an iPhone. It is believed the incident occurred when the occupant was out of the room for only a short period of time as there was no sign of forced entry.
Taken was a brand new, still in the box, Apple iPhone 6, grey.

False Fire Alarm:
On February 17 at 2:15 a.m. U.W.P. S. and the Waterloo Fire Department responded to a fire alarm on the first floor in the Southeast Quad at REV. The alarm was found to have been caused by someone falsely activating a pull station alarm.
