U.W.P.S. Crime Report– Weeks from Jan. 6 to 12, 2015
Suspicious Person:
On January 10th UWPS officers investigated a report of a male acting suspiciously walking between the Tim Horton’s outlets in the Davis Centre. Officers located the male in the building at about 3:20 p.m. He is described as white, 40 years old, short grey hair, 5’9”, wearing a grey and black coat, black gloves and toque and carrying a red knapsack. Investigation revealed the male has a criminal record and was currently facing other criminal charges related to events outside the campus.
The male had no affiliation to the University of Waterloo and could provide no credible reason for being on campus. He was escorted off the property and trespassed from campus.
Police remind members of the UW community to be cognizant of their surroundings and alert to people whose presence on campus seems suspicious. Such incidents should be reported to UWPS for investigation.
