U.W.P.S. Crime Report– from Jan. 20 to 26, 2015

Suspicious Person:

On January 22^nd UWPS received a report of male acting suspiciously in the Tatham Centre. At approximately 5:50 p.m. staff observed a man walking around the main floor. He seemed out of place and when approached refused to identify himself. He left the building and was last seen heading toward South Campus Hall.

U.W.P.S. Crime Report– Weeks from Jan. 13 to 19, 2015

Robbery:

On January 17^th UWPS received a report of a male being assaulted and robbed of a cell phone. At approximately 10:00 pm a lone male was walking along the footpath by Ring Road opposite to the EV3 building. He was approached by two suspects, one from the front and one from the back, assaulted and relieved of his cell phone.

Missing Person – Mr. Ayan BAIZHUKENOV

Waterloo Regional Police Service have received a “Missing Person” report from the parents, in Kazakhstan, of former University of Waterloo Student: Mr. Ayan BAIZHUKENOV.

At this time, there is reason to believe that Mr. BAIZHUKENOV is still within the City of Waterloo.

U.W.P.S. Crime Report– Weeks from Dec. 1^st, 2014 to Jan. 5, 2015

Arrest made in Theft of Laptop:

UWPS officers conducted a follow up investigation into the theft of an Apple Mac Air Book laptop computer. The computer had originally been reported stolen by a UW student to UWPS on April 12, 2013 from a student lounge on the 3^rd floor of the MC building.
