A limited amount of travel funding is available for external students and Post Doctoral Fellows outside of the University of Waterloo. Funds will be awarded to participating students to help defray their cost of transportation, accommodations, and registration fees. The award amount will be up to $300 per participant, based on each claim.
To be eligible for an award, applicants must:
- Be a full-time student in a graduate program or a Post Doctoral Fellow at an accredited college or university as of September 1, 2024.
- Participate in the conference by way of a contributed talk . Note that abstracts must be separately submitted on the abstract submission form.
- Make their own travel arrangements (including transportation, accommodation, and registration). Note: you will need to save complete itemized receipts and proof of payment in order to get the expense reimbursed. All documentation should have your own name on it, as reimbursement for expenses can only go to the person who paid.
- Save all relevant original and itemized receipts with proof of payment for partial reimbursement after the conference.
