I lead a team of PhD students to provide statistical advice to researchers. While the focus is to improve overall research quality, I strive to create learning opportunities for the students outside of their coursework and personal research by connecting them with potential collaborators and coaching them as they participate in interdisciplinary research.

Other tasks:

• Day-to-day operation of the Statistical Collaborative and Consulting Unit
• Scheduling of the Statistics Help Desk consultants
• Enhanced Service Projects including assistance for study design, long-term projects monitoring, data analysis and interpretation of results
• Arrangement of presentation on statistical topics in classes and events

• Serves as Building Coordinator for the Mathematics 3 building

• Financial approvals (Unit4, Concur)
• Procurement using grants or startup funds
• WorkDay Questions and Approvals
• Any inquiries regarding industry partnerships, events to meet students, or use of department space

Event Coordination; planning, coordination, marketing, communication and logistics for department events.

Technical support; department first level of support for computing, department websites, and maintains fob control for the M3 building.

Financial support in the planning and development of department annual operating budget for salary, non-salary and teaching needs, SRC, SCCRU, start-up and administrative appointment grants.  Assistance with annual teaching balances.  Oversight on payroll queries.  External invoicing for collection of department operating funds.  Assistance running and analyzing reports in Unit 4.  Faculty support with undergrad RA, postgrad and casual hires in Workday.  Supervisory support for department research grant funds, Concur reimbursements and related policies.
