On Thursday, February 6, from 6:00pm-7:30pm the University of Waterloo Analytics Group for Games and Sports (UWAGGS) is hosting an online session featuring special guest, Peter L’Oiseau, data scientist for the Toronto Blue Jays. Peter will be presenting his experiences working in sports analytics, specifically baseball, and what the hiring process looks like. This session will be virtual and the talk will be recorded. A watch party is being held in M3 3103. After the talk, there will be time for collaborative discussion and support for on going projects.
