M.A.Sc.

Short biography

Ryan GeRyan's research interests during his M.A.Sc. in the VIP group were in the design of machine vision algorithms to support real-time processing of defect analysis in plasma display panels (PDPs). Since then, Ryan has over 25 years experience in engineering, R&D, customer support and management. He now works at CCPower, and has worked as the business development director for GE embedded systems in the Asia Pacific region; he also worked in Canada and Japan for a leading supplier to the semiconductor and FPD markets. Ryan speaks Chinese, Japanese, and English and has a strong network of business contacts in Asia and North America. Ryan also holds his BSc in photogrammetry and remote sensing at Wuhan University and has completed financial accounting management training at Harvard University.
