We’re excited to share that the AAS Online System has been updated to a new version. This update is designed to improve your experience by making the system easier to use and more accessible across devices.
Below is an overview of the key student‑facing updates, including improvements to navigation, requests, notifications, and accessibility.
Updated student dashboard and navigation
The student dashboard has been refreshed to help you quickly find and manage everything you need in one place. With the updated layout, you can more easily:
- Activate your accommodations for your courses
- Review your accommodation eligibility
- Request appointments with AccessAbility Services
- View your upcoming appointments
- Schedule quizzes, term tests, and exams
The new design reduces the number of steps needed to complete common tasks and makes important actions easier to find.
Clearer request workflows
Requesting accommodations is now even more straightforward. Requests for different supports—such as alternative testing, note‑taking, or other accommodations—are clearly separated and guided.
This helps you:
- Know which request to submit for each type of support
- Understand what information is required before submitting
- Complete requests with greater confidence and fewer errors
Improved status visibility
You can now more easily track what’s happening with your requests. The system provides clearer status indicators so you can quickly see:
- Whether an accommodation request has been submitted
- If any action is required from you
This improvement helps reduce uncertainty and ensures you know when to check back or take next steps.
Better accessibility and mobile use
The updated AAS Online System improves overall accessibility and works more smoothly across devices, including phones and tablets. These changes support a strengthened inclusive and consistent experience.
