Information session

For the past several months, Waterloo Architecture students have been learning alongside Western Law students in a co-taught course in Law & Architecture.  Their final assignment is to collaborate on a design for a new Law building for Western.  Students will be presenting their designs on Monday, December 1, in the Loft.

Paths to Practice: Co-Op Employer Job Fair

Paths to Practice is coming this fall 2024, hosted by the University of Waterloo’s School of Architecture and the Co-Operative Education Department. This event is an excellent opportunity for employers to network with students across both the Bachelor of Architectural Studies Program and the Master of Architecture Program, helping to expand co-op and hiring applicant pools, while also learning about recent research and successes coming out of the school.

The Role of an Elder

On Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 12:45pm in the Auditorium, Elder In Residence William Woodworth of the Bear Clan, Mohawk, Six Nations of the Grand River. will be speaking on the role and nature of a native Elder based on his experience with Chief Jacob Thomas, perhaps the most important Haudenosaunee Elder of the twentieth century.

Master of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) Information Session

Join us for a one-hour online information session to learn more about the MBET program and the unique Waterloo innovation ecosystem, hear alumni success stories, get tips for the admissions process, and ask your questions.

The MBET program is a graduate entrepreneurship master's program that combines interdisciplinary courses with practical experiences in venture creation and commercialization. In MBET, students learn inside and outside the classroom. Networking, practical experience, and hands-on learning with like-minded people in the Waterloo entrepreneurship community complement the core Master's-level courses inside the classroom.
