Adjunct Professor, Anwar Jaber, recieves grant from the Palestinian American Research Center (PARC) for her research project titled “Palestinian Museums and the National Struggle: Spatial Analysis of three Palestinian museums.”

PARC is a US-based institution that promotes Palestinian studies and exchange among scholars interested in Palestinian affairs Anwar will be a ‘PARC fellow’ for 2022-2023, and she will be conducting fieldwork in Palestine this summer.

Christina Vogiatzis, a graduate student here at the School of Architecture, placed second out of more than 100 entries from 26 universities across the U.S. and Canada. Now in its fifth year, the competition invites interior design, architecture and furniture design  to create furniture pieces using Formica® Brand products. This year's theme called for students to express the future of design through a furniture piece using Formica® Laminate woodgrain products.

Yesterday the Ontario government announced a $400,000 investment through its EnAbling Change Program, which promotes education and awareness about increasing accessibility and inclusivity in academia and building design. The 14 chosen projects will assist people with disabilities, seniors, and other marginalized communities during and beyond COVID-19, making Ontario more accessible to people of all abilities.
