The Centre for Integrated RF Engineering (CIRFE) was established by Professor Raafat Mansour at the University of Waterloo. It houses a class 10,000 clean room and a characterization laboratory for RF devices. The facility is funded by Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI), Ontario Innovation Trust (OIT), and COM DEV International Ltd.
