Jaouad received the B.S in physical science from the Faculty of Science and Technology, Beni-Mellal, Morocco in 2007. In 2009, he received his Master's degree in high frequency electronics and optics technology from the University of Limoges (France), and a Ph.D. from the XLIM Research Institute of Physics, Micro and Nanotechnologies for optoelectronic and microwave components (MINACOM) Department, University of Limoges in 2013. He was a Post-Doctoral Fellow working at the Institute of Electronics, Microelectronics and Nanotechnology (IEMN-CNRS) at the University of Lille 1 (France). He is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Waterloo. His research interests include RF/microwave circuits, RF-MEMS and micro/nanotechnology.
