COMPASS was first implemented on PEI during the 2022-23 school year, led by the Chief Public Health Office - Department of Health and Wellness, and the Department of Education and Early Years, in collaboration with PEI's school boards. COMPASS PEI is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC). Results from the 5,125 grade 7-12 students across 18 schools that participated in the 2022-23 survey were provided to schools and school boards in September 2023 and are available at Live Well PEI.
