COMPASS has been funded by the Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR) to collaborate with our partners to evaluate how ongoing changes to Canadian cannabis legislation, policies, and programs are related to changes in youth use and other associated health behaviours over time. This funding is designed to support researchers embedded directly within provincial or territorial governments, to evaluate policies that have been put into place related to cannabis that may impact the health of Canadians. This research is being conducted to facilitate timely translation of evidence that can improve the uptake of effective prevention interventions targeting youth cannabis use.
