  • Student and visitor parking charges will resume on September 8

Submit your proof of vaccination today

Update for students and employees

Earlier this week, we strengthened our safety measures against COVID-19 by introducing the requirement to provide proof of vaccination. We promised to get you information on how to submit your proof or apply for accommodation by the end of the week. That information follows below.

Case tracking: two community members test positive

On Thursday, August 26, Region of Waterloo public health informed us of two individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 and who had visited our campus.

The individuals are in self-isolation and officials have been in touch with all known close contacts of the individuals.

If you have not been identified as a close contact of either individual, you should continue to follow our on-campus safety procedures including our campus check in screening daily, and self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 and seek testing if needed.

Proof of vaccination now required for campus access

Update for students and employees

  • We are strengthening our safety measures against COVID-19 
  • Anyone coming to our campuses and locations must provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 
  • Proof of vaccination is mandatory with accommodations available for medical or human rights grounds
