On Thursday, April 1, 2021, Region of Waterloo public health informed us that an additional two people who live on or have visited our campus tested positive for COVID-19.
The cases are part of the outbreak of COVID-19 in University of Waterloo residences, bringing the total in the outbreak to 29.
The Region of Waterloo will move into a provincial shutdown effective April 3, 2021 for a period of 28 days, which affects teaching, research and other operations on campus.
