Professor Clough, whose achievements this award commemorates, greatly influenced engineering education and was the founding Chair of the Department of Management Sciences at the University of Waterloo.
Program
A scholarship valued at $2,500 is provided annually to a full-time graduate student enrolled in the Master of Accounting program at the School of Accounting and Finance in the Faculty of Arts on the basis of academic achievement and extracurricular involvement in the Kitchener-Waterloo region. Interested students must submit an application each year
An award, valued at approximately $1,500 will be awarded annually to a full-time graduate student registered in the Master’s of Accounting (MAcc) program in the School of Accounting and Finance (SAF) in the Faculty of Arts.
A scholarship valued at $2,500 is provided annually to a full-time graduate student enrolled in the Master of Accounting program at the School of Accounting and Finance in the Faculty of Arts on the basis of academic achievement (based on an excellent academic record at the undergraduate level).
Two scholarships valued at up to $10,000 each, will be awarded annually to incoming or current graduate students who will be or who are registered full time in the Master of Mathematics in Data Science or Master of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence program in the Faculty of Mathematics.
Two awards, each valued at $5,000, will be awarded annually to doctoral students registered full-time in Year Four or beyond in the School of Accounting and Finance in the Faculty of Arts, with a preference for students in Year Five.
Two scholarships, each valued at a maximum of $5,000, will be awarded annually to Black students entering into the Master of Mathematics for Teachers (MMT) program at the University of Waterloo.
Bursaries, of varying amounts, are available to undergraduate and graduate students who are experiencing financial difficulty as a result of the responsibilities associated with being a sole-support parent, with preference to female students.
Scholarships, valued at up to $2,500, will be awarded annually to graduate students registered full time in the Department of Political Science in the Faculty of Arts.
Awards valued at up to $5,000 will be provided annually to graduate students who are currently registered full time (or who were last registered within the last two academic terms) in the Faculty of Mathematics.
