Award description:
Scholarships valued at up to $20,000 each will be provided annually to graduate students registered full time in a Master's or Doctoral program at the School of Accounting and Finance (SAF) in the Faculty of Arts, and the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development (SEED) in the Faculty of Environment, at the University of Waterloo. Each of the Schools will notify their respective registered students and invite them to submit an application for this scholarship opportunity in the spring term. Selection will be made based on academic excellence, extracurricular achievements and/or volunteer involvement with the Hub for Sustainability Integration and demonstrated research in the fields of financial management or sustainability, as appropriate. This award is made possible by a contribution from Royal Bank of Canada (RBC).

Eligibility & selection criteria:
- Domestic and international graduate students registered full-time in a Master's or Doctoral program at the School of Accounting and Finance in the Faculty of Arts, or the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development in the Faculty of Environment, at the University of Waterloo.
- Must be within the time limits of the program.
- Minimum first-class (80%) cumulative average in the current program or over the last two full-time academic years required.
- Eligible students, regardless of program, must be conducting research in the field of sustainability and financial management.
- Extracurricular achievements and/or volunteer involvement with the Hub for Sustainability Integration will be taken into consideration.
- The Schools of Environment, Enterprise and Development, and Accounting and Finance will notify their respective registered students of this scholarship opportunity, application requirements and deadline in the Spring term. Selection of the award recipient( s) will be made by the respective Schools.
- Past recipients are eligible to reapply for this scholarship.
