Waterfowl along the Grand River

Tuesday, November 25, 2014 9:00 am - Saturday, November 29, 2014 1:00 pm EST (GMT -05:00)

Two outings, Nov 25 and Nov 29!

Meet at Pioneer Tower, located at end of Lookout Lane

Spend the morning exploring the Walter Bean Trail while we search for different waterfowl (ducks and geese) and other birds that inhabit the Grand River during this time of year. Suitable for all ages and experience levels – beginner bird watchers welcome! This trail has a variety of different habitats including old farm fields, forests, recently restored meadows and plenty of river access. We hope to find a variety of songbirds, plenty of ducks and geese and hopefully Bald Eagles.

If you have binoculars, please bring them along.

Dress appropriately for the outdoor hike. Free - All Ages Welcomed! Trail conditions are subject to weather and could be snow covered or slippery.

Note: Washroom facilities will not be available.
