UWaterloo Economics Professor Joel Blit was recently appointed to the National Research Council of Canada as a member with a 3-year term. The National Research Council of Canada is the largest federal research and development organization in Canada and is responsible for advancing science and technology in various fields to support Canadian innovation and economic growth. The NRC collaborates with academia, industry and government to address national priorities and challenges.
