MA program options
The MA program can be completed with one of several options. These program options are designed to let you tailor your degree program to best suit your goals.
-
All our MA options start with a short course (ECON 600: Mathematics for Economists) reviewing the mathematical techniques that you will use in your other courses.
-
Our regular MA program involves two terms of coursework and one term in which you write a Master’s Research Paper.
-
Our MA co-op program is coursework based. This involves two terms of coursework, two cooperative work terms, and then one more term of either coursework or a Master's research paper.
-
The Collaborative Water Program also offers an MA water program and an MA water co-op program for those who are interested in water resource economics.
