IEEE KW section is pleased to announce the upcoming full-day workshop on power system protection, which will be offered by EATON.

However, for blockchains to be widely adopted and accepted, it is imperative that security challenges related to blockchain technologies be addressed appropriately. Conversely, blockchains can act as a powerful substrate for security and cryptographic technologies.

Join us at the Conrad School for engaging and informative roundtable discussions with founders from the University of Waterloo startup community.

The theme of the inaugural Canadian Design Workshop is  Designing Engineering Design Education in Canada. Participation by attendees will be in the form of podium or poster sessions, grouped by theme. Two-page abstracts are due March 1, 2020.

Invited teams of Engineering students will be competing:

• for surprise Challenge Game theme when they arrive at E7-2317 (Conrad Hub)
• for half-hour to earn House (Engineering Departments) points
• for the Winter 2020 season (there are three games scheduled over lunch hour this Fall season)

Lunch will be provided to FANS and TEAMS! But you must pre-register to attend.

You get to support, cheer and receive FAN points for prizes at the end of the season!
