Degree requirements

To complete the Master of Engineering in Electric Power Engineering (MEng), you must:

  • Complete 9 of the ECE 66XXPD courses listed in the Graduate Studies Academic Calendar.
  • This program is online and part-time only. Students may only enrol in one course per term.
  • A minimum grade of 65% in each of the 9 courses and a minimum cumulative average of 70% are required to remain in the program.
  • Program length is a minimum of 3 years, or 9 terms, and a maximum of 5 years, or 15 terms.
  • Students must enrol in one course per term continuously until program completion. If you fail to enrol, you will be removed from the program and required to apply for readmission. If you require time away from your studies, please contact your program coordinator to arrange this ahead of time.
