Degree requirements

To complete the MEng program, you must complete 8 courses at the 600 or 700 level, with a unit weight of 0.50 each.

  • At least 5 courses must be from within the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.
  • Up to 3 courses may be taken outside ECE, from the faculties of Engineering, Mathematics, or Science.
  • Students pursuing the Graduate Specialization in Business Leadership may take up to 4 approved BE/BET courses from outside ECE.
  • A minimum grade of 65% in each course and a minimum overall average of 70% are required.
