Lab Software

The majority of software on Waterloo Nexus workstations is installed on the local hard disk(s). For this reason, software may vary from lab to lab. When you log on in a particular lab your Start Menu will be updated to reflect the software installed in that lab.

In Engineering Computing's computer labs, you will usually find a very similar set of software installed on the computers.

For a comprehensive list of software for each lab click on a lab name.

Note: a few applications run from network drive Q (usually small, older applications). These will not show up in the lab software lists.

Departmental computer labs may have some different software. Look in C:\Program Files and C:\Software to verify what software is on the workstation.
