Robot in 3 Days

ROBOT IN 3 DAYS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF WATERLOO

Canada's largest Ri3D team

With 60 students at the University of Waterloo, we inspire FIRST Robotics Competition teams around the world by building a robot in 3 days. For 72 hours, we investigate the FIRST challenge, prepare a design, manufacture a chassis, wire electromechanical systems, and program an entire FRC robot - 40 days before bag and tag.

Michael Midura is a first year mechatronics student who was part of a FIRST Robotics team in high school and participated in FIRST LEGO League in grade school.  He has launched this team, the first time a robot in 3 days activity has happened in Canada will be in January 2018.

The two competition groups (teams) that are being formed are named after famous engineers from history (learned from Michael’s MTE100 class)

The Sedra Student Design Centre, Engineering IDEAs Clinic and FIRST Canada are all proud supporters of this activity.
