Ideas Clinic EngSkills Workshops
The Engineering Ideas Clinic offers co-curricular EngSkills Workshops year-round to help build student's engineering skills. These workshops are approachable for students of all skill levels, and have a mix of instruction, and practical experience through hands-on case studies, activities, or projects. Over the course of several sessions, these themed workshops build in complexity, giving students of all skill levels opportunities to learn new things.
Workshops to date have included:
- Finite Element Analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics (introduction, intermediate, and advanced skills)
- Optics and Quantum Communications
- Robotic Control
- Audio Engineering
Our teaching materials are available to all University of Waterloo students through a self-enroll course on Learn.
