Vinyl cutting workshop with Denise St. Marie and Timothy Walker on Wednesday January 29 in ECH 1237.
Students will learn the basic principles of working with vinyl and the range of possible uses that can transfer across all artistic disciplines.

Have you ever wondered about residencies – what they are – how to find them – what they are like? This panel/talk will give you an overview of some of the different types of residencies out there and how to get them. Tara Cooper and Jane Tingley will account some of their favorite residencies and will talk about their personal experiences.
Encaustic is a painting process which involves combining colour pigments and hot wax and then applying them to a porous, rigid surface such as prepared wood or canvas panel.
Linda Carson will give a workshop on how to do encaustic. This workshop is free and open to anyone.
