The Fine Arts woodshop is located in East Campus Hall (ECH) 1227. Its hand tools and equipment are only available for use by students taking fine arts courses. Prior to a student's use of the shop, a safety course provided by one of the department’s technicians must be completed. Students must use proper safety gear (safety glasses, dust masks, etc.) and wear proper attire. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training is mandatory for all Fine Art students.

Use of the Fine Arts wood shop, metal shop, and all other facilities is exclusively for students working on current Fine Arts studio course related projects.

Hours

The woodshop is open 9:30-3:30 (and closed for 1 hour at lunch) on weekdays during the Fall and Winter terms.
