Award description:
Students accepted into the Perimeter Scholars International Program will be eligible for full financial support of their program. The University of Waterloo will provide tuition scholarships and Perimeter Institute (PI) will provide awards intended to cover expenses related to travel, housing, food, textbooks and reference material, student services fees, and incidental stipends as assessed by PI.

Value description:
The goal is to provide each student who is accepted into the Perimeter Scholars International Program with financial support of approximately $30,000 (domestic) / $40,000 (international); amount will be reviewed regularly. The award value for each student will be determined by PI in conjunction with the University of Waterloo. This support will be provided on a term by term basis with the award designed to cover all costs associated with the program. In certain specific cases, the actual value of the award may be reduced by the amount of any other significant (>$1,000) award intended to cover graduate study activity (for example, those from major funding agencies such as NSERC).

  • All students accepted to the Perimeter Scholars International Program are eligible and will receive the award.
