Spring 2023 course offering

Building off the success of the work-integrated learning opportunities available to undergraduate students, all graduate students are invited to apply to participate in a new Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) pilot course in Spring 2023.

The course, Consulting Experience, will allow an opportunity for students to engage as part of an interdisciplinary team where they are working on projects with a sourced industry or community partner related to sustainable impact and/or policy landscapes. Students will participate in 80 hours of supported work-integrated learning as part of the course and will produce a final report for their industry or community partner. Additionally, students will be supported through career curriculum delivered by the Centre for Career Action and by staff from the Centre for WIL. Students will have the opportunity to develop research, develop evidence informed solutions, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, build professional relationships with industry and/or community partners, and reflect upon their strengths and gaps in the current knowledge, skills, and abilities. Mentorship and feedback will be provided by the course instructor, Dr. Anindya Sen.
