Campus Wellness is tasked with implementing Recommendation# 22 from the President’s Advisory Committee on Student Mental Health (PAC-SMH) report. This recommendation proposes that the University of Waterloo develops a role-specific mental health literacy training strategy for our campus community. We are therefore asking TAs to identify mental health literacy competencies that they may need to do their job successfully, and to share motivators and barriers for attending mental health trainings offered on campus. You may provide your input by participating in the Mental Health Literacy Training Strategy: Survey for Teaching Assistants (TAs). The survey will be open from January 28-Feburary 7, 2020, and will take approximately 3-5 minutes to complete.
Should you have any questions about this survey, please contact Kalpita Gaitonde.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
