Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs received many amazing GRADflix submissions for the 2021-2022 competition year, and we're happy to announce this year's 25 finalists! Learn more about each of our 25 finalists.
Our GRADflix 2022 Showcase is taking place virtually on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 3:00 pm (EST)! You're invited to join Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs (GSPA) for a virtual showcase of the shortlisted GRADflix submissions before the winners are announced. Be part of the action! The showcase will be streamed live on the GSPA YouTube channel and will feature special guests, audience prizes, and more.
As an audience member, you will have the chance to cheer on your favourites and vote for the People’s Choice winner from the comfort of your own home. Every vote counts – pick your favourite! The first place winner receives $750. Prizes will also be awarded to the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place contestants.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
