BKI '13: Caroline, Senior Policy Analyst
Caroline is a 2013 BKI grad working as a Senior Policy Analyst in the Foreign Policy Planning branch of Global Affairs Canada.
Caroline explains her role, "I provide non-partisan expertise, advice, and policy development at Canada's foreign ministry. I analyze global politics on a number of files (i.e. gender and feminism, migration, international order, special UN initiatives) and work with a team creating policy pieces for audiences as diverse as the Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, academic and civil society partners, and senior management of Canada's foreign service.
I use my KI skills in distilling complex issues into digestible briefings, advice, options, and messaging and I also work in a large bureaucracy of teammates and stakeholders where information and collaboration must flow horizontally and vertically."
