BKI '18: Joshua, Teacher
Joshua is a 2018 BKI grad working as a teacher at the Waterloo Collegiate Institute. After completing his KI degree with a minor in French, Joshua obtained a Masters in Teaching at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.
He now teaches History, Law, and French at Waterloo Collegiate Institute, where he continues to explore how best to establish accessible, inclusive, and collaborative classrooms. These endeavours also extend to Joshua’s work with the Shad summer program since 2020, most recently as Program Manager at Shad Mount Allison.
Joshua shares that KI's high school outreach, "inspired his teaching journey; the program’s design inquiry focus, academic flexibility, and passionate community made it a clear choice for his undergraduate education."
