Shad Waterloo 2024

The Department of Knowledge Integration is host to the Shad program at the University of Waterloo. Many of our faculty and staff are involved, along with some KI students!

Shad is a summer enrichment experience for high school students from across Canada (and around the world!). Knowledge Integration was founded on some of the core principles of Shad, to offer you the flexibility to combine your many interests while developing the skills needed to solve real-world problems. During Shad and in KI, you'll be developing skills such as understanding and solving problems, communicating effectively, thinking critically, and collaborating within teams through hands-on projects.
