Fast Friends

Knowledge Integration Seminar

KI community-building activity

During this INTEG 10 seminar, KI faculty member Katie Plaisance will lead us through a community-building activity commonly known as “Fast Friends.” The activity will include opportunities to join breakout rooms with small groups of other KI students and get to know one another. Each breakout room will have a set of questions your group will get to choose from and discuss. Examples include:

  • “Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest and why?”
  • “What would constitute a “perfect” day for you?”
  • “What do you value most in a friendship?”
  • (You’re welcome to come up with your own questions too!)

The “Fast Friends” activity has been scientifically proven* to bring people closer together. We hope you’ll join us!
