Ask a librarian at the Student Success Office

Thursday, January 23, 2014

Last term librarians provided research help at the SLC’s Turnkey Desk on Sunday and Monday evenings. This term, they are teaming up with the Student Success Office’s Success Coaches and Writing Centre to help students during regularly-scheduled drop-in study sessions.

Students at a study session

The drop-in study sessions are a student-focused resource where students can

  • access just-in-time, just-enough support,
  • learn skills that they can use on their own in the future, and
  • have a regular time and place for studying.

Librarians are offering research help as part of the study sessions from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday to Thursday in room 228F, Student Success Office, South Campus Hall.

Librarians’ involvement in this initiative is part of the Library’s efforts to provide in-person research help to students beyond the Library’s walls.

If you have any feedback on this initiative or have other ideas for how librarians can extend in-person research help service across campus, contact:
