Love letter to a librarian

Laurie Strome, Supervisor of Patron Accounts, came to work this week to find this note in her mailbox, along with a “roll up the rim to win” free donut. The note was dropped off over the weekend addressed to “Dear Librarian of UWaterloo” and it’s simply too cute not to share. La Bastille of St. Paul Res — all library staff thank you for your kind show of appreciation!

The letter reads: "Dear Librarian of UWaterloo. We just want to let you know what a wonderful job you are doing, and how much your job means to us. No matter whether it's the research material we are seeking for writing an assignment or a field of interest you are guiding us to find ... you are the gatekeeper and tour guide between us and a pool of knowledge. Thank you for doing what you do best! Sincerely, La Bastille of St. Paul Res."
