The Library and the Research Data Management Working Group are excited to announce the launch of a Research Data Management (RDM) Guide. This guide supports researchers and students at any stage of the research project lifecycle, offering guidance and additional resources on best practices for organizing, storing and sharing research data.
Key features of the guide include detailed guidance on creating data management plans including a data management plan template, RDM basics and best practices, and a curated list of additional valuable resources for all RDM activities.
The guide will be updated regularly to include the most up-to-date information about RDM policies (including from the Tri-Agencies) and best practices, ensuring that Waterloo researchers and students have easy access to this information. The guide editors warmly welcome suggestions from the community for information and resources that would be helpful to include. Suggestions can be submitted through the guide.
If you have any questions, please reach out to the Library RDM team.
