The WatCard system will be migrated to new servers, Wednesday, June 29 to Monday, July 4. Some or all WatCard services will be unavailable during the migration window.
What will this mean for the libraries during this time period?
- Registers will operate in offline mode — this will allow us to process sales, but we will not be able to add funds to WatCards while the registers are offline. WatCard sales will queue locally on the register, and upload once the WatCard connection is reestablished.
- uPrint will only be available using the uPrint guest cards. We will be able to sell uPrint guest cards.
- We will not receive a patron barcode update file during the service interruption window. We will not be producing cards during this timeframe. This means student accounts will not be updated during this time.
