Flickr photo #WOCinTech Chat (three women working together on their laptops)Women in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) regularly suffer from gender-based harassment and exclusion, a phenomenon that is reflected in their chronic underrepresentation on Wikipedia.

The Library is hosting an edit-a-thon to help counter the trend and improve the representation of women in STEM fields on the site. Please join us to create and improve pages that highlight the work of women in STEM. First-time and experienced editors welcome! Pizza and refreshments will be provided.

When: Wednesday, December 7, 2016 (12:00 - 2:30 pm)

Where: Dana Porter Library Flex Lab (LIB 329)
