Getting the most out of your time when researching and writing undergraduate essays

The first of three sessions this term offered by the Library and Writing and Communication Centre starts with a 30-minute lesson on beginning the researching and writing process. It is followed by time to work through your own assignment and receive one-on-one help, regardless of where you are in the researching/writing process. Attend the lesson, or consultation section, or both! Register ahead of time or when you arrive.

Lesson includes: academic information sources, evaluating information sources, basic database searching, developing a working thesis, critical reading, and notetaking.
