Adults residing within Waterloo Region may apply for a library card at the Circulation desk free of charge. To obtain a borrower card you must present proof of residency showing your name and address.
High school students
- For no cost, high school students from schools within Waterloo Region, Wellington Catholic School Board, and the Upper Grand School Board may register for a period of September 1 until the following June 15
- The Library requests a letter of introduction from a principal or school librarian validating your need to use an academic library

David Johnston Research + Technology (R+T) Park employees
Individuals working in the R+T Park are eligible for a free borrowing card at the Library.
